Metallica wants to tour with Guns N' Roses
Starpulse says recent Hall of fame inductees Metallica would "consider a rock supertour with Guns N' Roses - after hailing the group's comeback album Chinese Democracy."
The Metallidudes, who started out around the same era, are apparently big GNR fans
"And drummer Lars Ulrich admits he would jump at the chance to tour alongside Axl Rose's legendary group.
He says, 'We're road dogs. We love to tour. So we'd never say no. We've learned never to say no to anything, and all four of us love Chinese Democracy.'"
Now that is a ringing endorsement right there.
Guitarist Kirk Hammett, however, says he doesn't see it happening in the near future "The real question is whether they would tour with us."
I'm pretty sure the last time those guys went out on the road together James Hetfield set himself on fire in Montreal (Fire bad!), after which Axl Rose cut the Guns set short due to "vocal problems," causing a riot. They should see what Mike Patton of Faith No More (who was also on the tour) is up to.

guns and roses is not even guns and roses no more and does not get my interest , metallica new album is on revenge whath is left of heavy metal heritage to pure rock nothing like the new bands we ear thath are highly comercial and all alike , metallica is loud ,fast and heavy and style get fans form all ages can we say guns would do the same , everyone would go for curiosity to see them but bring back guns toghetter than you have guns and roses , pantera is greatly miss but the guitar player is now dead so maybe never we will ear of them so whath is left of good old rock bands thath sound better than the new ones , acdc , metallica and ???? we are waiting either for the good bands of our past or new ones , slipknot is good but really not the same i must admit i did like ramstein but there is not much loud band anymore thath are known and have impact in the world

Glad they mentioned the Montreal Riot, My cousins were there, i couldnt go cause i was too young but what they told me about the stuff that happened down there was pretty insane ..wow, i think you can even check it out on youtube on what happened.
Now back to the touring, Why now?..they're both amazing acts and the dates would for sure all sell out...only thing is, i think big egos would probably get into the way on alot of things.
And alot of questions have to be answered before they even decide to do this.
Ok, Metallica was huge and stayed huge, Guns were huge, stayed away but got huge again with the new CD release.
So who opens up?
Hmmm, i dont know
OF course Guns...but why?
16 Years i havent seen them (well just Axl..who cares about the other guys..right?)
Metallica is enough to open a show, right?
Yeah, but everyone has waited so long to see Guns!
But Metallica's new CD is hailed as the savoir to heavy metal (for what ive read!)
Yeah But everyone has waited so long to see Guns!
Ok, what do we do?
Toss a coin.
Whatever, they cant tour together in my opinion, no matter what drummer Lars Ulrich and drummer Lars Ulrich would like to see.
Gun n' Roses will sell itself and Metallica the same...get local or upcoming bands to open up for them...case closed.
Just dont burn yourself..
