Elton John and Lady Gaga to duet at Grammys?
It just might be the most fabulousest duet ever to fabulous. Rumour has it that Sir Elton John and Lady Gaga will be duetting at this weekend's Grammy Awards. It's just a rumour, though, as far as I can tell, since I can't find the source and only hundreds of articles quoting some source that said, "Elton and Lady Gaga on the same stage is sure to create fireworks, it could be one of the most memorable Grammy performances of all time."
Contact Music says "The 'Rocket Man' musician is set to take to the stage with the pop beauty at the prestigious ceremony which takes place at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday."
Whatever they choose, if it happens, the outfits will, of course, be crazy over the top.
Elton Hercules John is pretty good at choosing Duet Partners. Besides Kiki and Rupaul, at the 2001 Grammys, he famously joined Eminem on stage, (wearing the best pink suit ever) for a joint rendition of Stan, basically to help Em prove he wasn't a homophobe.
This year Em will perform the track Forever with Lil Wayne, Drake and Travis Barker – but without Kanye, even though the rapper appears on the track recording.
Lady Gaga is nominated for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Dance Recording, while Poker Face is nominated for Song of the Year.
